How many sessions will I need? How long does the coaching programme last?
The length of a coaching partnership varies depending on the individual's or team’s needs and preferences. For certain types of focused coaching, 3 to 6 months of working with a coach may work. For other types of coaching, people may find it beneficial to work with a coach for a longer period. Factors that may impact the length of time include: the types of goals, the ways individuals or teams like to work, the frequency of coaching meetings, and financial resources available to support coaching.
How do I prepare for my coaching session?
You will have completed a set of questions prior to booking, you can continue to add or reflect on these questions. It is also good to keep a note of challenges, reflections or ideas which may help the sessions. You may also come with clear goals and outcomes although this is not essential at this stage.
What should I expect from my first coaching session?
The first session is partly getting to know each other, partly setting the scene for the coaching. We will be looking at how you want the session to go and what kind of support you are wanting. The coaching and focus are directly by you although there will be questions to assist the process.
Should I read or start reading the ‘A Path Travelled’ books before I start the coaching?
This is not a requirement although having an understanding of the mind, thoughts and behaviours will accelerate your development and growth. This is all covered in the book and will give you a head start.
Online Masterclass FAQs
Do I need to read the book 'A Path Travelled'?
The simple answer is no. This Programme brings the book to life and encourages you to work through the exercises to enhance your experience. Some say that they learn through watching videos rather than reading. It is a personal choice.
Is there support if I get stuck?
Yes. There is a private Facebook group you are invited to join. Here you can share your experiences, ask questions, celebrate insights and encourage others. I will answer any questions, and offer live sessions occasionally.
Can I go back over sessions?
Yes. You get a lifetimes access and you can repeat any session as many times as you want. The idea is that you take your time to watch the videos and complete the exercises. You can keep starting at the beginning and see what extra things you learn each time.
How do the interactive exercises work?
All the exercises are interactive within the Programme, or can be downloaded and printed off. If you do add your answers inside the Programme they are private and personal to you. No one else can see these.
